Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge is a great book for younger children. Author Heather Flood has filled it with delightfully descriptive stories of lovable animal characters. There's humour and drama, and she has woven in a strong moral ethos that goodness and kindness always wins in the end.

The adorable Mousey Mousey could become as big a favourite as the legendary Mickey and Minnie Mouse – but she is fresh and original and the cutest mouse ever. My three grandchildren love her and scramble into bed at night, eagerly waiting for me to read about her and her friends.

With a mixture of talking rabbits, squirrels, moles and badgers, spell-casting witches and page-turning action, Heather has surely got a winner here. I thoroughly recommend it.

Elizabeth Wright, author of 'Made in Sussex', 'From Fancy Pants to Getting There' and 'Belle Tout - The Beachy Head Lighthouse that Moved.'

Mousey Mousey and the Witches’ Revenge is an utterly delightful read. Heather Flood has come up with two wonderfully original characters in the kindly Mousey Mousey and the naughty old witch Agatha.

Mousey Mousey always tries to spread love and happiness to everyone. She can become one of the most famous, most popular fictional mice, while Agatha must rank as one of the most mischievous witches. She takes great pleasure in upsetting and annoying people with her spells and pranks.

Heather's book is chock full of other great characters, including an evil witch called Secretia, a fussy vampire and a selfish actress, in a series of adventures that children will adore. It's perfect bedtime reading.

Claire Carpenter, author of 'Hold on Tight' and 'Something Odd…' from the 'Yes You Can Books' series.

I love the way Heather Flood writes because I can picture her adventure stories in my head and act them out.
I think Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge is really creative, especially as the author has used animals instead of humans. To me it's Halloween and Christmas merged together.

The stories flow so nicely you don't want to stop reading – you are desperate to know what happens next. This book is AMAZING.

Briony Elizabeth Moorton, aged 10.

An enchanting tale which will captivate the imaginations of boys and girls of all ages, Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge is an original, humorous and magical book that takes the reader on a delightful journey.

It all begins in the tiny village of Dobble where the charming Mousey Mousey and other woodland animals are congregating to celebrate Christmas. Moody old witch Agatha and her daughter Bernice arrive uninvited on their broomsticks, but battle to save them all from a terrifying hurricane. A truly remarkable story also features a music-loving vampire, a transmorphing cat, hairy-leg cream potions and adorable talking rabbits.

With characters as endearing and magical as some of Beatrix Potter’s, and the adventurous spirit of an Enid Blyton classic, Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge is a story which I’m sure children will request time and time again.

Emmy Yoshida, author of Corrupted, and mother of Enzo.

Heather Flood is an exciting new author whose magical stories draw young children into the world of books and keep them enthralled.

Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge contains the cutest little mouse you will ever come across, together with her wonderful animal friends and a naughty witch called Agatha. When Agatha is not flying about on her broomstick or casting spells, she's tucking into Crunchy Bat Wing Biscuits and Spider Leg Cheese Straws.

There are scares, tricks and laughs galore, but it all comes right in the end. What more could young children want? Heather's adventures are up there with Julia Donaldson's Gruffalo and the many Enid Blyton stories that have delighted children for decades.

Rosalind Lashmore-Lloyd, parent and fund-raiser.

Heather Flood comes up with another winner as she again takes children into the wonderful world of a cute fantasy mouse, witches, talking rabbits and other animal characters in her new adventure book Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Revenge.

Mousey Mousey, the cutest ever mouse, and Agatha, the most naughty witch, are joined by some adorable new characters, including the comical Stinkblob and Mouldy Knickers.

It's the perfect progression from Heather's first Mousey Mousey book Mousey Mousey and the Witches' Spells, and it's appealing not to just young children but older ones, too!

Mousey Mousey, Agatha and her daugher Bernice suffer all sorts of threats and problems, but good eventually triumphs over evil!

It's the perfect book for children.
